HoneyHill’s Brief Thoughts on Wedding Parties

Let's talk about wedding parties. Whether there are 0, 1 ,5 or 20 on each side, they are there to be around you on the wedding day, to support your marriage in good and bad and overall surround you with love as you plan your wedding and marry your best friend.

There are no "have to's", here is what wedding parties could look like and DO look like:

- 3 standing up on your side, 10 on your partners.
- No wedding party.
- Wedding parties can stay seated or stand up with you at the ceremony.
- Parties can process down the aisle or travel as a group.
- Parties can walk down solo one after the other or be paired up, or walk in 3's or 4's.
- Wedding parties can walk your grandparents down, your parents, your dog.
- Wedding parties can be matching, or mis-matching.

There are no "have to's." I can tell you with confidence that a wedding party is not a gage of how many friends you have or don't have (because that would be crazy) and I promise you, no one will even bat an eye if there are uneven numbers. (and if they do, you can ask them to come talk to your planner and we will gracefully explain ;))
