Late Fall at Grand View Lodge

I really do tear up when I hear vows, when a bride and groom pour their hearts out to each other, in front of witnesses, God, making an oath, a pledge, and professing their love to each other. What is better than that? Nothing. Charlene and Craig celebrated their marriage on the most perfect late September Fall day, at Minnesota’s historic lakeside Grand View Lodge. Walking through the property with its log cabins, plaid carpet and grand staircase leading to the lake, you feel at home and you feel far away. Charlene and Craig invited their family and friends to stay the weekend, enjoy the wedding, gather around a bon fire and untimely create new memories together. Charlene and I had many phone conversations throughout our planning experience and they almost all focused around what the day will feel like and what guests will be able to enjoy. Both Charlene and Craig have such a beautiful selflessness about them. I have learned so much. Lastly, none of this would have been possible without the incredible vendor team!
